Use the crisis in your favour and go out camping!
The economic crisis got you tense? That only means you’ve got more relaxation to do ahead of you! How is this economically viable? Well, if you continue to stress yourself about the economical crisis, you will soon have many new bills to pay. Medical bills, and that’s if you’re lucky enough. So it is better for you, both economically and for the wellbeing of those around you, to relax and get everyone together for a family holiday outdoors.
Making sure you’ve got everyone clad properly to be able to withstand the still low temperatures outdoors is the first step. You should then make sure everyone has food to suit their particular taste, so as not to have any strong objections and people going on hunger strike because you packed only what you like to eat. Unless you plan on making it a find your own food survival weekend, in which case you should first train everyone as to which mushrooms are eatable, and which aren’t… If you yourself are uncertain of this, you should avoid any mushrooms, being that there are more poisonous ones than there are eatable ones, and some only let you make one mistake… Perhaps it is better for you to just bring some sandwiches and a nature book, and find berries you are certain are not poisonous. Or buy them on a market, should you not like to risk it. Also, if you are planing to bake potatoes and sausages, it would be a smart thing to bring some firewood along, as you can’t know for sure if you will find any dry ones on the camping site. You should plan out activities for everyone, so that everyone can do what they enjoy while the sausages get done. It would be a great thing to make everyone leave their mobile phones at home, or at least turn them off while camping, because the whole point of family self catering holidays is to make everyone enjoy the beauty of the nature and the peace and quiet of being outdoors. If you forget to bring along any music, you will have a great time as you will have to sing together!
